Manuals/Guidance
Forty-four states plus Washington, DC have developed manuals and/or guidance providing standards and guidelines for state agencies to follow in implementing telework. Some of these documents are issued by the state’s Department of Human Resources or Department of Administrative Services, and apply to all state agencies. Other documents pertain to specific agencies. A number of states offer general telework policies that each agency can adapt.
